Next week, Aug 10, is the District Governor’s official visit to our club. The DG is required to visit every club in their district. With 72 (I think) clubs to visit, that makes for a very busy first six months.

Our DG, Claire Little will meet with our Board of Directors at 7:30 Monday evening at the Benton County Museum, 2nd floor area.

At our noon Tuesday meeting, DG Claire is the program. All members should make a very special effort to attend this meeting.

Our August 17th meeting program features Todd Stansbury, OSU Athletics. Some of us have been known to go somewhat crazy when the OSU Beavers are mentioned…stand and cheer and sing silly songs about the Beavers superiority over that nasty rival to the south. Lets make it an Oregon State orange and black day! Wear your OSU gear and make Todd feel welcome.

Vina Moses needs our help. Bring some school supplies to the next two meetings. The only items NOT needed are color crayons. Lets pitch in and help the school kids from Philomath and Corvallis who need school supplies. Vina board member Ron Thiesen will coordinate and deliver items to Vina Moses for their annual school supply give away. THANKS!

Corvallis Knights Game, Saturday, August 7th.
