Berkeley is a small, non-sectarian private school. Our philosophy is that a comfortable, structured atmosphere in which your child is valued and respected as an individual is essential to a successful learning experience. Our goal for each student includes not only the acquisition of strong basic academic, but also the development of independent study habits, a sense of responsibility and a firm self-image.
We recognize that by the time a child goes to school, his/her education is already in progress regardless of their age. Parents are a child’s first teachers, and will continue to be the most influential force in their life. It is the responsibility of our school to help your child integrate his/her new learning experiences in the school environment with the values that are important to the child’s family.
